## Recipe

KHAMAN 
Cooking time: 30 minutes Serves: 2
Origin: Gujarat
Steamed chickpea flour cakes tempered with mustard seeds.
INGREDIENTS
1 cup (120 g) chickpea flour (besan) 1 Tbsp (10.5 g) semolina 2 tsp sugar
1 tsp freshly squeezed lemon juice (nimbu) Salt, to taste
1 tsp fruit salt
1 Tbsp (15 ml) vegetable oil 1 tsp mustard seeds (rai) 1 tsp white sesame
seeds (safed til) Pinch ground asafoetida (hing) 2 curry leaves (kadhi
patta) 1 green chile, finely chopped Sev (available at Indian markets), for
garnishing Grated fresh coconut (nariyal), for garnishing
